Paul Solberg was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Before moving to NYC in 1996, he traveled widely and spent over a year studying anthropology in Cape Town, South Africa. Solberg's published books include Bloom(2005), Puppies Behind Bars (2006), Tyrants + Lederhosen (2010), Tattoos Hornets Fire (2012), and the upcoming Food Trucks LA (2013). Solberg's photographs have been published in Publisher's Weekly, CNN, Wall Street Journal - International Edition, Conde Nast Traveler, The Huffington Post, Le Figaro, La Lettre, and Interview Magazine. Solberg's work has been exhibited internationally in museums and galleries, including La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Subte (Montevideo), Galerie Catherine Houard (Paris), Galerie Sho Contemporary Art (Tokyo), Galerie Hiltawsky (Berlin), Christopher Henry Gallery (New York), and Karl Hutter Fine Art (LA).
Solberg lives in New York City.
