Nelson Bloncourt was inspired to write this book by the real Fanny. He says, “Every person’s dog is the best and the most special. But Fanny had been so exposed to the public in San Francisco, that hundreds of people knew her by name. That made her soar! She was greatly loved.”
Nelson has worked as a fashion stylist, a photography agent and co-author (Visions of Angels, S Editions, 1998), and is currently a creative director and consultant. This is his first picture book. He lives in the hills of San Francisco, in the home he shared with Fanny.
