Michael McCollom is a designer and professional photographer. He was born and raised in the Midwest but moved to New York City to begin his career in fashion. Vogue named him a "Designer to Watch" in 1990, and he has since gained recognition as a designer and photographer, working with a celebrity clientele that includes Mariah Carey, the late Whitney Houston, and Julia Roberts. His first solo photography exhibition took place in New York's SoHo district in 2002. He has continued to curate exhibits throughout the city, including the 2006-2007 Museum of the City of New York's ground-breaking fashion exhibition "Black Style Now." He is currently the creative director for Trilogy and Fleurette, luxury goods collections. He lives and works in New York City.
