With a worldwide reputation for some of the most celebrated, successful and stunning visual products of our time including the PeanutsTM publishing program, the bestselling Spice Girls' In Your PocketTM series, the deluxe edition of Fleur Cowles' The Best of Flair, or Douglas Kirkland's extraordinary photo essay, "Coco Chanel: Three Weeks/1962," the people at Glitterati know how to create branded and high-volume consumer trade books and product and place them in the market for fast sales as frontlist and longevity as backlist.
Our diverse offerings of product cover areas from the high arts to popular culture, and include everything from fashion, architecture, design, photography, cookery, lifestyle, collecting, gardening, children's books to contemporary culture. Our goal is to always extend boundaries beyond what has been done before, making sure that we create at the same time deluxe products of broad appeal. We produce books that are a pleasure to sell and a pleasure to own.

The Principal
Glitterati Incorporated was initiated by Marta Hallett, who has worked for more than three decades on the international playing field of illustrated trade book product. Having instigated some successful longstanding publishing programs and worked as an independent producer in the past as well as house publisher for HarperCollins, Smithmark Publishers and S Editions (a division of Stewart Tabori & Chang) and Rizzoli International Publications, she has produced children's and adult product that is highly regarded throughout the field.
Strategic Partners
Glitterati recognizes that in today's marketplace, alignment for joint ventures is the most productive means of making sure that high-quality product reaches as many interested consumers as possible. Illustrated product isn't just for bookstores anymore; as the consumer community becomes more and more sophisticated because of bombardment by visual imagery, there is a wider and wider opportunity to sell and distribute illustrated product. To this end, Glitterati has established a broad base of strategic alliances with like-minded entrepreneurs-whether authors, artists, corporations, or retailers-in an effort to make sure that every Glitterati product gets the widespread exposure it deserves. World Markets
Whether through licensing co-edition rights to publishers throughout the world, or making distribution arrangements for our titles, the goal of Glitterati is to make sure that our books are widely available not just in North America, but in the world markets. Our primary customers are publishers with whom we have worked consistently in Europe. We are expanding our Asian customer base, and now have access to even China as a point of distribution. Because of our excellent sponsor and client relationships abroad, most of our books have natural tie-ins in non-North American markets, and are happily available in the world market.
We sell our books through attendance at all the international book fairs where rights are exchanged and sold, as well as by making individual submissions through long-term relationships with editors around the world. Our books are available in English throughout the world, as well as in translation, and we welcome inquiries from publishers around the world who may want to translate or publish our books in their territories.
Glitterati is distributed to the book trade by National Book Network. Trade customers please telephone tollfree 1-800-338-4550 or email custserv@nbnbooks.com.
